We are currently looking for a:
Senior Logistics Manager
to act as a strategic and operational partner to the Head of Supply Chain, with full accountability over end-to-end logistics performance.
Role & Responsibilities
As Senior Logistics Manager, you ensure full control, reliability, and continuous improvement of all logistics flows, from inbound to final delivery to customers.
You bring a strong operational leadership and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical logistics constraints (GMP, quality, traceability).
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, structure and develop logistics teams (warehouse, inbound, outbound)
Manage experienced teams and ensure performance, engagement and accountability
Drive a strong leadership culture on the field (close to operations)
Build and deploy training and capability development plans
Act as a senior reference point for operational decision-making
End-to-End Logistics Ownership
Ensure efficient and compliant (GMP) management of inbound, warehousing and outbound flows
Guarantee material availability from reception to delivery
Define and implement logistics strategies (short, medium, long term)
Drive warehouse operations performance (capacity, flows, stock accuracy, lead-times)
Process Optimization & Projects
Lead major logistics transformation projects
Redesign and optimize logistics processes
Define CAPEX needs and support investment decisions
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure strict compliance with:
GMP requirements
EHS standards
Quality and traceability requirements
Improve performance through data, KPIs and technological solutions
Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as a key interface with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and external partners
Promote logistics best practices within the organization
Support overall supply chain performance and customer satisfaction
Profile & Qualifications
Required Experience (Mandatory Criteria)
Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics operations management
Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment (mandatory)
Strong experience in warehouse operations (inbound, storage, outbound)
Demonstrated experience managing large teams in an industrial environment
Proven track record in leading complex logistics projects (such as : Warehouse setup / expansion, SAP or ERP implementation, Flow optimization / transformation)
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of end-to-end logistics flows in pharma
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and material flows
Experience with ERP systems
Solid understanding of EHS and quality standards
Lean Management (Kaizen, 5S, continuous improvement)
Leadership & Personal Skills
Strong and established leadership presence
Ability to take decisions and drive execution on the field
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset combined with operational pragmatism
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
